Setem Announces Setem 3S Platform Software Evaluation Kit for OEMs

Newbury, Mass., October 17, 2016 – Setem Technologies, Inc., today announced the availability of Setem’s 3S Platform Software Evaluation Kit (SEK). The 3S Platform leverages the new, patented mathematical representation of the far-field soundscape to improve the quality of speech recognition for smart-home, connected-car, and other Internet of Things applications.

Designed to help audio engineers developing voice-enabled products, the Setem 3S Platform isolates, separates, enhances and de-reverbs signals, which improves quality of far-field speech recognition and voice communications through patented source signal separation.

The Setem 3S Platform SEK Components

In addition to Setem’s 3S Platform, the SEK includes real-time visualization of sound sources, a GUI for multiple processing modes including tracking, and an analog audio output of the processed signal sound source separation via XMOS headphone jacks.

Hardware: XMOS xCORE USB Mic array, USB cable

Software: Setem processing libraries, Setem API (Header file + Documentation), Setem Java GUI

Requirements: Windows, macOS, or Linux with Oracle Java V8 installed
